1041 Audit of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) Protocol in Elective Colorectal Surgery (A Loop Audit)

Abstract Aim Audit of current adherence to the ERAS guidelines for all elective colorectal surgical procedures in our hospital. Comparison was made with first audit which done 2018 and subsequently improvement second loop 2019. Method Retrospective review patient’s admitted Colorectal surgery between January 1st 2019 – December 31st Inclusion Criteria: All surgeries including right hemicolectomy, extended left anterior resection, abdominoperineal resections. after either adjuvant or neoadjuvant chemotherapy radiotherapy 37 patients were identified audit. Every component Enhanced recovery (ERAS) carefully noted patient's records. data collected collaborated manually excel sheet. The then presented graphical manner. Exclusion Criteria:Emergency procedures. Results 2018:Percentage adherence:Pre-admission 59.2%Pre-operative 73.9%Intra-operative 70.1%Post-operative 52.7%No Anaesthetic includedOverall Adherence 63.9%Mean Length Stay 9.8 days Loop 2019:Percentage 88 %Pre-operative 80.25%Intra-operative 76.8%Post-operative 79.6%All components 81.1%Mean –7.1 Conclusions Very Good compliance ERAS.
